Privacy of patient data is as important to AlloFactor as it is to our clients. AlloFactor has painstakingly assessed each access point from people, process and technology perspectives to ensure privacy of patient data.

HIPAA
Our transcription process is fully HIPAA compliant. Our transcription platform enforces all regulatory requirements of HIPAA including user authentication, access restriction, data necryption, secure storage and access logs.

Authentication
alloFactor platform enforces successful login with a unique User ID and password to access their voice files and transcripts. Authentication enables AlloFactor to protect identify each user and prevent any unauthorized access to patient data.

Logging
On successful login, alloFactor platform displays the previous successful login time along with the IP. This allows the user to notice any break-ins. Also ona certain number of unsuccessful retries the system locks out the user and an administrator intervention is required.

Data Storage
alloFactor stores data at a secure data center in Birmingham, AL with physical access limitations to data. Sensitive data like passwords are encrypted from even our technical administrators.

Corporate Network
Our corporate network is protected with highly secure firewalls. This ensures protection from hackers accessing sensitive information.
